PaperlinX, the Australian paper company, has selected EmployeeConnect’s HRpro to support its transition to a shared services model for its Australian operations.

PaperlinX recognised that in order to give HR a strategic role within the enterprise, they needed to align workforce management with business processes. They were already experiencing operational savings and increased employee engagement through their existing HR solution, delivered as a service through their outsourced provider.

The challenge was to support their migration from an outsourced payroll provider to an in-house model and transition their admin staff while deploying HR services more extensively into their business.

“The process needed to be seamless and uninterrupted from a user perspective and managed in such a way that it had minimal impact on the new shared services group and resources during a time of peak demand,” says Ari Kopoulos, National Sales and Marketing Manager with EmployeeConnect. “We implemented HRpro with a new administration protocol and on a new EmployeeConnect hosted environment fully integrated with their new in-house payroll provider in just over 2 months.”

HRpro will empower the workforce with workflow capabilities, giving managers and employees insight into individual attributes such as remuneration, performance and training. This visibility creates a high value ripple effect throughout the company adding to the overall value, ensuring everyone in the company will be kept up to date with significant events through workflow notifications and real time management reports.
